2019 Scholarships

We finally have responses from all 6 of our scholarship recipients for 2019!

Special recognition should go to mentors Stephanie South and Hieu Huynh for not giving up on their students and pushing them to get all the information that we need to validate their scholarships.  At this point, all we are waiting on are some class schedules from a couple of students so that we can confirm that they are enrolled this fall but otherwise we have all the other documentation required from each student.

In addition to Stephanie and Hieu, Miki Mankin, Laurie Garvey, George McKearin and D Schieferstein are mentors this year and all have actively worked with their students to obtain the documentation and guide them through the process.

So, a special thanks to all the mentors from Byron, 2019 Scholarship Chairman.

Clean up at the park
A number of our members met at the Ann Eisemann inclusive playground to clean up and do some repairs after the storms.

Great Meeting
A full house enjoyed the insights and stories of veteran reporter, Steve Stoler last week. What a great meeting we had!
