Last week we had the pleasure of meeting Triton, a comfort dog. He is a Lutheran Church Charities K9 comfort dog. For regular visits he will use his ble vest but when he visits Military Veterans and VA hospitals he will be accompanied by a Military Veteran and wear a camo vest.
Triton knows over 33 different commands and has has over 2,000 hours of training.
An LCC comfor dog brings comfort to individuals and families who are suffering pain or loss. They calm individuals, facilitate conversations , work with special needs individuals, veterans, the elderly and are used in counseling situations.
