Scott Greeson is the City of Richardson's "Response and Recovery Coordinator.

 

Scott is a 5th generation native Texan married to his wife Laney for the past 27 years.  He has a son (Josh) and a daughter (Kaytin) who he loves to spend time with when not working.  For the past 6 years he has served as the Response and Recovery Coordinator for the City of Richardson’s Office of Emergency Management.  Prior to Richardson, he was the Planning Section Chief for Dallas County Homeland Security and Emergency Management.  His passion is emergency management serving in numerous roles for past incidents to include tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and other emergency incidents over the past several years.  He has accreditation as an emergency manager with the State of Texas and the International Association of Emergency Management which is recognized globally.  

 

Scott will discuss and elaborate on the emergency response operations from behind the scenes of the first responders and the orchestrated response efforts by the City of Richardson to restore a sense of normalcy to the Community in a timely manner.
