Life Post-Mayor
Mr. LaRosiliere is a decorated public figure, community organizer and an expert in the financial planning and wealth management arena. He has a track record of building wealth for his clients, constituents and community, and is recognized for taking a unique approach to solving problems and building for the future.
During his two-term tenure as Mayor through 2021, Mr. LaRosiliere was instrumental in driving immense economic development for Plano while improving the lives of its residents and especially, its young people. From adding over forty-thousand high paying jobs to Plano through countless major corporate relocations, to founding the Nourishing Hope program to reduce childhood hunger, as well as creating the Mayor’s Summer Internship Program and securing a partnership for Plano with Paul Quinn College’s Urban Work model, his focus on making the world a better place and inspiring others is relentless.
Prior to being elected Mayor, Mr. LaRosiliere served on Plano’s City Council for 6 years from 2005 to 2011. Because of his long-term strategic and visionary approach, Mr. LaRosiliere’s work on Council set numerous critical foundations for Plano. From lowering tax rates and increasing public service to making investments in community funding, his work before and during his time as Mayor helped make Plano what it is today. The city has achieved countless national accolades and has been recognized for numerous awards like Happiest Places to Live, Best Places to Find Employment, Best City in Texas, Safest Cities in the US and Best Places to Retire.
Since 2008 Mr. LaRosiliere has also been the Senior Vice President, Wealth Management at UBS, a global wealth management firm. Over the years his team has won numerous financial accolades from Forbes, Barron’s and the Financial Times, being recognized as some of the top wealth managers in the country. His appointment to UBS’ D&I Council has also allowed him to expand on the tireless work he invests in mentoring in addition to building a more diverse and inclusive organization. Prior to 2008, he held Advisor roles at Morgan Stanley, A.G. Edwards and Prudential Financial.
Mr. LaRosiliere has been a Member on the Texas Health Resource Hospital of Plano Presidents Council and is currently a Member and past Board Member on the Plano Metro Rotary Club. He is avidly involved in his community and has spoken on topics ranging from leadership to education, presenting everything from State of the City Addresses as Mayor to Keynote presentations for some of Plano’s largest employers including Capital One, Toyota, Liberty Mutual, FedEx Office, NTT DATA, JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Ericson, Hilti, Baylor Scott-White Hospital and Boeing to name a few. He is passionate about empowering people and making positive change in the community whenever he has the opportunity.
As a graduate of City College of New York, Mr. LaRosiliere holds a bachelor’s degree. In addition, he is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA). Of all the joy in his life, he finds the most with his family, including his wife Tracy, and their two daughters, Brianna and Maya.
