Tracy McCain received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and her Master of Education with Special Certification in Autism Intervention from the University of North Texas. She is a wife, mother of two, breast cancer survivor, and most recently, a member of MAMMA (Mothers Advocating Medical Marijuana for Autism) and has traveled to the State Capital multiple times to advocate for the expansion of the Texas Compassionate Use Program. In 2014, she published her first book, Lady in the Red Cranial Prosthesis, which is a memoir of her cancer journey. She is also a devout Christian and is active in the special needs’ support group at her church. When Tracy isn’t raising her daughter and advocating for her son, she works as a trainer for parents and teachers of children with special needs.
