  • Is it FAIR to all concerned?
    • Veronica demonstrates accountability, keeping in mind the Golden Rule (“treat others the way you want to be treated)” and the Platinum Rule (“treat others the way they want to be treated).” She seeks to identify different points of view and include all interested and affected parties in reaching shared goals.
  • Is it the TRUTH?
    • Veronica acts with integrity, and shows high ethical standards, acknowledging issues, collecting information, and applying critical thinking for identifying the difference between facts, beliefs, assumptions, and opinions. She displays all the characteristics of a trusted problem solver.
Veronica Cobb also exemplifies the values of Rotary, including service above self, fellowship, leadership, and a passion for others, and imparts brilliant ideas that empower our club to function effectively. She is an outstanding club member who has made significant contributions to the mission and operation of our club and has displayed diligent devotion to both community and international service.

Veronica has participated in and has been actively involved with our Club’s service projects, wearing numerous hats in Rotary and within our community. She has taken an active leadership role within our club, participating in club activities that help to strengthen the camaraderie of the club and contributing invaluable input on a wide range of subjects, including public image, fundraising, and networking with other groups and individuals. She not only took on the task of hosting our meetings at HarborChase but also serves in these essential roles:

  • Sergeant of Arms/Board Member of the Rotary Club of Southlake
  • President-Elect of the Rotary Club of Southlake for 2023-24

In addition to graciously offering HarborChase as our new venue for Rotary meetings, Veronica exhibits dedicated enthusiasm in executing the day-to-day workings of our club, taking such essential initiatives as warmly enthusiastically welcoming every member and visitor who arrive at our meetings and enthusiastically volunteering when something is needed on short notice.

Veronica’s beautiful heart and service to our Club has not only enhanced the scope and effectiveness of our Club’s operations but has also improved our Club’s unity and visibility.

In Veronica’s own words, when sharing her life’s passions with our Club, she aptly stated, “Legacies are the journey of people’s lives.” She has faithfully created an admirable legacy, not only in her own life but also in our Club’s ventures, genuinely making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Clearly, Veronica’s passion and commitment to serving others have been a life-long mission as she was also voted “Rotarian of the Year” by her prior club in Ft. Worth. She has also served diligently over 16 years in the Senior Living Industry, celebrating the legacies of many residents that have enriched her own life. Making a difference in people’s lives undoubtedly fills Veronica’s heart.

And for those of you who do not know, Veronica has honorably served our country and is a United States Air Force Veteran, serving 8 years of active duty as a Hospital Administrator running a 350-bed Regional Hospital. She was also appointed as Wing Protocol for the General and Wing Commander.

Veronica exemplifies the values of Rotary, sharing her gifts in fundraising/ networking, her thinking, her time, and her impressive talent to our club, in support of our community and world. And she selflessly DOES for the Club and our community with no intent for accolades or recognition.

So, Veronica, in recognition of your outstanding demonstration of Service Above Self; honorable commitment to the 4-Way Test; worthy contributions to the mission and operation of our club through each of the Rotary Avenues of Service; and for promoting Rotary by your actions and involvements, we recognize you as our “Rotarian of the Quarter.”

Congratulations and thank you, Veronica Cobb, from an incredibly grateful Club!
