The Rotary Club of Southlake enthusiastically announces CISD's upcoming junior Morgan Frazier as the recipient of their Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)!!!

RYLA is an intensive leadership development program developed in 1971 by Rotary International for young leaders.  District 5790 holds their RYLA program at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX held June 16-19, 2022.  For additional information about RYLA, see this link: RYLA Program

Morgan exemplifies Rotary’s aim of “service before self.”  Aspiring to be a doctor one day, Morgan is the incoming Lieutenant for the Carroll Varsity Color Guard Team, volunteers at the library, and is a member of the National Honor Society.  Morgan also serves as the Vice President of the Book Club.

Morgan has participated in several community events, including most recently the Southlake Foundation’s “United We Run,” GRACE, and Southlake’s Art in the Square.

CISD Principal Ryan Wilson gave high praises of Morgan’s academic efforts at CISD in the sciences.

When notified of Morgan’s RYLA selection by our Club, Principal Ryan Wilson stated: “Morgan Frazier is a fantastic young person and student, an excellent representation of our school district who is fortunate to receive the support of the Rotary Club.”

The Rotary Club of Southlake is proud to introduce our RYLA recipient, Morgan Frazier, and look forward to hearing about her RYLA experience and watching her blossom one day as a doctor!
