Incoming Southlake Rotary's President, New Rotary Year Rollout

Our Club is looking forward to hearing from incoming President Dana L. White as she presents her vision for our club this year.  Our district’s vision statement is as follows:  

“Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.”

We are excited to hear incoming President Dana White’s vision statement for our Club so more and more leaders and members have a chance to think about how these words reflect the impact we wish, as Rotarians, to have on the world.  As Dana shares her vision statement with our Club members, we will have the opportunity to think about what it means to our club, enabling us all to look for opportunities to provide input into the strategic planning process, as well as help us chart a course for taking action to create lasting change.

As People of Action, we understand that fulfilling that vision requires a plan. Our priorities include: increasing our impact, expanding our reach, enhancing participant engagement and increasing our ability to adapt. By helping to realize the goals of Dana’s vision, we will ensure a stronger and even more effective future for Rotary—a tremendous legacy. Our plan is rooted in our tried-and-true values and builds on the remarkable capabilities and spirit of Rotarians.

We are always aware of  the challenges that Rotary and the world face in protecting in protecting the value of human connection in an age of technology. We are certain Dana’s vision will lay out a path for bringing great ideas to the forefront of the global imagination of what’s possible.  Her plan will undoubtedly provide us with a continuity of a Rotarian’s vision from year to year, keeping us moving toward fulfilling our shared purpose. #wearerotary #peopleofaction #rotaryconnectstheworld.
