Northeast Tarrant County Commissioner

Gary Fickes is a Grapevine Rotarian with over 30 years of community involvement under his belt, including a 7-year stint as Mayor of Southlake during its most formative early years. Today, he serves as County Commissioner, overseeing Northeast Tarrant County’s Precinct 3, one of the fastest-growing precincts with a  population approaching 500,000.

Focused on health care, transportation, seniors and economic development, Gary is a great listener, a compelling communicator, and a significant reason we are enjoying a very high quality of life in our community. Today we’ll find out about important projects he’s working on that impact us now and in the future.
