Suz McIver, Midland Care Center for Hope and Healing, will be discussing their community grief center serving Midland Care clients and the community at large.  They serve ages 4-adult – persons who have experienced the death of someone that they love.  The center opened in 2015 and houses areas for grief support groups, individual counseling and work with children and teens.  In the last three years, the Center has received many donations from the community and is very well supported by volunteers.  Last weekend, our Kids Grief Camp was held at Tallgrass Christian Camp near Harveyville.  This camp began in 2010 with seven children – and this year we had 40 children and 34 volunteers.  Join us in the Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center at Washburn University.
