Please join us this Friday to hear from Zach Ahrens!
Our presenter will lead the club through TRUE COLORS to better understand your own personality more fully while appreciating similarities and differences in others. This humorous exercise is fun and informative and will help you to better understand how to better communicate with others in your relationships, business, volunteerism and your involvement in Rotary.
This week's meeting will be held at Bishop Professional Development (PD) Center, 3601 SW 31st Street, Topeka, KS, 66614. Click here for directions.
Announcements will begin promptly at 7:45 am, with breakfast and coffee being served at 7:30 am!
“By continuing what we do best, by remaining open and willing to change, and by keeping our focus on building peace in the world and within ourselves, Rotary helps create a more peaceful world — a more hopeful world."
Gordon McInally, RI President, 2023-2024
The Rotary Club of Topeka South and District 5710 requests the pleasure of your company at the District Governor Induction ceremony of Jenalea Randall, Rotary District Governor 2023-2024.
Our Club is in a unique position this fiscal year due to less than expected meeting costs and other cost savings. This has given us the opportunity to explore our own foundation. This is something that's been discussed for many years but due to various reasons we were unable to move forward and a main reason was the cost associated with just forming the foundation. This is no longer a barrier.
The foundation would be used to ensure the future of our TSR Club and allow us to support our Topeka community through potential grant making or programming. However, we do not have the continued funding to sustain it. Which means after meeting our District Foundation goals, dollars raised through our fundraisers could go to the TSR Foundation or members could choose to donate directly to the TSR foundation. We will not increase dues or use dues to fund the TSR Foundation.
If you have not already done so, please complete this two question survey to let us know if you think our club should explore this further.
Based on the feedback from this year's Fireside Chats, it appears that the majority of members would prefer to receive their membership dues invoice via email instead of snail mail. Please send a message to Candy Williams to let her know which option works best for you!
