Congratulations to the Topeka Rotary Clubs and members who have given generously to our fight to end human trafficking! I received notification of our recognition by the Office of the Attorney General of Kansas for the work done on our Global Grant Day Center and related anti-human trafficking projects!
Derek Schmidt, the Kansas Attorney General, wrote, “Congratulations to you and all of the members of Topeka Rotary Clubs on being named Outstanding Victim Service Response as part of this year’s Crime Victim Service Awards presented by the office of the Attorney General. I regret that the COVID-19 pandemic prevented us from presenting your award in person at the annual Crime Victims’ Rights Conference, as is our usual tradition. But I do recognize and appreciated your dedication to crime victims in Kansas and wish you the best as we continue serving victims during these challenging times. Thank you for your service, and congratulations on this well-deserved honor.”

The endorsement is a critical component when applications are being reviewed by Rotary International. The interview will be on Zoom sometime between May 5 and 20. The committee will be chaired by Jenalea Randall. If you are interested in serving on the team, please email her at Jenalea.Randall@icloud.com
