eNews for December 13: Hayden Singers (Bradbury Thompson Alumni Center)
Enjoy the sounds of the holidays as we listen to the Hayden Singers. A mixed-choir from all grades, students from Hayden Catholic High School will set the mood for our holiday spirits as we enjoy food, friendship, and melodies.

Children/Grandchildren Welcome at Dec. 20 Meeting
TSR members, we are planning a wonderful holiday meeting for December 20th, and we want all TSR members' children and grandchildren to know they are welcome.

At the December 20th meeting, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving to take pictures with all of the good girls and boys (regardless of age!), plus we'll have a reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas.

If you would like to bring your child/grandchild, please know they are welcome, but due to planning for food, along with a small book gift, we need your child(ren) RSVP no later than December 6. Please RSVP with the number of little ones (and their names would be great!), you will be bringing to Ashley Charest ( ashleycharest@gmail.com).

IN SEARCH OF HOST FAMILY FOR TSR SPONSORED EXCHANGE
Angelle "Angie Dos Santos Guber is the TSR-hosted exchange student from Brazil. She is 16 years old and a sophomore at Washburn Rural High School. Her interests include theater, choir, and yearbook. She plans to try out for the softball team in the spring and can teach you how to make amazing Traditional Brigadeiro (Brazilian Fudge Balls).

Angie has been staying with a family from the Downtown Rotary for the first part of her visit and they are expecting Angie to move another 2nd host family sometime between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

If you are interested in hosting Angie, please contact Jared Holroyd or myself so we can get the paperwork started. It is a great opportunity to learn about the culture of another country as well as share your own family traditions about our community and country. Also, it does not have to be a Rotary family to host students. If you know of a families that have enjoyed hosting exchange students in the past please see if they might be interested.

NOTE - Alice Weingartner is Angie's counselor. From time to time Angie has spent the weekend with her family and this can give you some respite if needed.
