Sherwood Lake Club Beach

Families and kids are invited and anyone is welcome to swim. We will provide hot dogs, chips, and basic beverages…water and soda. You are welcome to BYOB; however, bottles are not allowed.
 
There is not a mailbox or address plaque at the beach and boat ramp; however, it is located on SW Sherwood Court Topeka, KS 66614 which is a quick find on google. You can’t miss it if you drive down that road. You can park along the street and walk to the gates of the beach.
 
We need RSVPs to be sure to accommodate everyone. Please RSVP to Erika Skinner as soon as possible.

TSR 25th Annual Golf Tournament June 23
It's gonna be a blast!
 
This year is the 25th Annual Topeka South Rotary Golf Tournament. Proceeds will benefit the YWCA and Easter Seals Capper Foundation.
 
Golf committee chair Gary Lucas has lots of Caddyshack fun up his sleeve! He challenges each Rotarian to get together a team with 3 non-Rotarians. A great way to raise more money and invite some prospective members. Just $85/per person includes green fees, cart, driving range, box lunch and refreshments.
 
Gary is looking for raffle prizes, and hole sponsorships are available at just $110.

TSR Wins Distinctions at District 5710 Conference
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
There are great reasons to celebrate TSR's recognitions at last weekend's district conference. We received the Presidential Citation for last Rotary year—a significant accomplishment.
 
Additionally we received a new award…the “Governors Bell." This award is intended to be assigned yearly at the District Conference solely on the District Governor's discretion to 1 of our 44 district clubs for recognition of outstanding service and fellowship. Basically, their favorite club. The bell is then transferred to the next club at the next conference.
 
Cheers to the board, volunteers and all the members who make our club outstanding. It's great to see others notice us, too.
