2/1 :: DAVID OLIVER, NFL OFFICIAL (BRADBURY THOMPSON ALUMNI CENTER)

Did you know that Topeka has a professional NFL official? David Oliver was born in Topeka, Kansas and raised in Maple Hill, Kansas. He graduated from Baker University with a BBA. Oliver became interested in football officiating in 1986.

He was inducted into the Topeka Officials Association Hall of Fame in 2013 and the Kansas Collegiate Officials Hall of Fame in 2014. David just completed his 2nd year in the NFL where he was selected to work the Seahawks – Cowboys wild card game.

In addition to football officiating, David is a Vice President Manager of Technical Services for Capitol Federal Savings Bank.

Join TSR this Friday and listen to David's journey to the NFL, along with maybe a few "behind the scenes" stories.

HONORING ROB BRIMAN AND MIKE WILSON AT HALL OF FAME

Our very own Rob Briman and Mike Wilson will be inducted into the Topeka Business Hall of Fame on Thursday, February 28 at the Ramada Downtown. Let's help celebrate them by attending the event and sitting together! (Fireworks and fog horns might be needed...)

If you are interested in attending, the cost is $175/person. You can purchase your ticket here, and then make sure to email Ashley Charest and let her know you want to sit at the TSR "rowdy" table.

Questions? Hunt down Rob, Mike or Ashley.

EARLY ACT NEEDS VOLUNTEERS IN FEBRUARY
Early Act is a curriculum to teach the four-way test to 3rd or 4th graders. This is  an anti bullying format with everything scripted. You pair up with four to five kids and teach how the four test helps us in all we do in life. It is 2 sessions and begins at 2:30 to 3:15 on 2/11 and 2/18. It is preferable to be at both sessions but if you can make one it is ok. We can use a minimum of 5 and could go to 10 volunteers. Contact Mike Morrison to help.
