Join us for some volunteer yard clean-up work to support the Topeka Rescue Mission. TSR will be hosting a one-day event on either June 1 or 8, from approximately 7 am - 5 pm, at a home in Central Topeka. We need 25 volunteers to work the entire day or just what fits in your schedule. We would ask that all volunteers provide their own work gloves and be dressed appropriately for the weather with closed toed shoes. We also need the following equipment for the day: - Rakes
- Chainsaws
- Spades
- Shovels
- Round-up
- Mowers
If you are interested in volunteering, contact Patti Mellard via email or phone at (785) 640-9999. Let her know the day (or days) you could volunteer, timing, along with what equipment you could bring for the event. |
