eNews for November 1: OFF SITE - Let's Help, 200 S Kansas Ave

Join us at Let's Help this Friday to meet their new Executive Director, Jen Loeffler, and learn more about their important work in our community. We will also be inducting a new Rotarian into our club and you definitely don't want to miss this week's "Tell Us Something Good!"

Pumpkin Run: Success!

You did it! Thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers, runners, and walkers! Because of you, we were able to not only have a great time but raised awareness and funding to eradicate Polio! This might be our most successful Pumpkin Run to date!

Day Center Grand Opening

Please read carefully for important information.

Rotarians and their family are invited to the Open House/Ribbon cutting on November 22 from 2-5pm at the new Human Trafficking Day Center. TSR and Topeka Downtown are hosting this event by providing refreshments and volunteers. Come by and see all your hard work in helping make this home warm and inviting!

As part of the Global Grant to fund this project, the plan included that Rotarian volunteers would help staff the center (you would always be with a YWCA employee). Volunteers need to go through a 16 hour training to work with the victims. We will try to work with interested Rotarians to set dates for this training. If interested please contact Patti Mellard.
