Today's Meeting:
Our speaker yesterday today was Kurtis Grothoff of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas. He updated the club about the services provided in NE Kansas across a 21-county region and their recent acquisition of the campus previously belonging to Let's Help. There is an open house on October 23 for anyone interested in learning more about the transition.
We sent around a clipboard with two envelopes for donations for upcoming projects in India. But one of the envelopes went missing! If you picked that up by mistake, please email or text me and let me know. Thank you! (785-640-8787)

We welcomed Jaclyn Crow as the newest member of our club today!
The Board approved the application of Shawn Walker. Today begins the 7-day comment period.
Today at 10:00 a.m. we'll hold a student measuring event at Highland Park Central Elementary to size children for new shoes through our Sole Mates project. In November, we'll return to HPC to deliver the shoes and help students try them on. We anticipate providing shoes and socks to approximately 70 students thank you to our District Grant and club resources.
Kyle Lear reminded us about the upcoming Pumpkin Run on October 25. Newly created is a Trunk or Treat signup here.
Faron Barr shared the global grant that TSR contributed over $5100 to started two days ago! This project will distribute mestrual health resources to women in Africa.
