Gary Livingston has been a Chef / Culinary/ General Manager in a number of restaurants over the past 25 years. Also, he has worked for USD 501 in a number of different positions, most recently and currently, the Culinary Arts Instructor for TCALC.
He has been a life long Topeka, Kansas native. He has served the community more than 15 years as an assistant scout master, mentor, and volunteer. Helping the community that he was raised in and loves is very important to him, and he believes that experience will be enhanced through membership experiences in the Topeka South Rotary Club.
His passion is to help young people find a little bit of direction and stability in their life. He has helped hundreds of his former employees advance their careers through personal training and advocacy. He is continuing that work at TCALC.
He challenges his students to be their best, and to not allow circumstances or trials stop them in fulfilling their life goals. They currently partner with several organizations in providing real world work-place experience for students in the comfort of a school environment.
