A Paul Harris Designation is Easier Than Ever When You Give in November

This November you can double your accrued points toward a Paul Harris designation. It's simple: 1,000 points/dollars = a Paul Harris.

HOW?
Through the end of this month Topeka South Rotary will donate Foundation Recognition points to your name equal to the amount of your donation. Don’t wait. It’s first come first awarded. Hopefully we have enough demand to run out!

THE GOAL
When you joined Rotary you learned that the Foundation is a key piece to being a Rotarian and serving those in need around the world. Rotary International’s goal is for every member to donate $100 every year. That means our club must average $100 per member every year.

Our club currently has a total of 61 Paul Harris Designees—will you join the ranks or plus yours up?

Resources from Department of Homeland Security

Thanks to Chuck Clanahan and Eric Carlson for an informative presentation on how to make our homes, workplaces and community safer and more secure. They have provided additional information and resources to help our members:

"Thanks again for providing SA Eric Carlson (FBI) and me the opportunity to provide the presentation to your club. As discussed, following are resources available that were discussed during the presentation. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if I can be of any assistance. Thanks again and I look forward to our continued relationship and partnership."

IF WE DON'T ASK, THEY WON'T JOIN!
How's your list of five people to ask to a Topeka South Rotary activity/meeting/event coming along?

There were five guests at last week's meeting. Let's keep that up! This week's presenter sounds very interesting—a great opportunity to pick a name from your list and invite the individual to the meeting. Remember, breakfast for all potential members is on the club!

Membership committee members are ready to assist you.

This includes a more finite number of volunteers requested from the organization that receives the funds and specifies more clearly the deadline to turn in the application. Please share as appropriate. Application deadline is December 10, 2016.
