10-27: OFF SITE:  MULVANE ART MUSEUM - WASHBURN

Topeka South Rotary will be on the road, sort of, on October 27 for an off site on campus!

A tour of the Mulvane Art Museum is planned. Parking will be easy – simply use the same lot, but join us at the museum to tour the three exhibits: "Detention Nation," "Speaking Volumes: Transforming Hate," and "Transcendental Train Yard."

A continental breakfast will be available thanks to Bob Carmichael.

5TH ANNUAL PUMPKIN RUN

REMINDER - MORNING INVOCATION SIGN UP
Posted by Cassandra Taylor
We're are changing things up a little at Topeka South Rotary and giving people an opportunity to sign up for the morning invocation each week, providing the ability to plan ahead and select a more personal invocation. We would love to have invocations from all faiths and walks of life. There's nothing that says it has to be a prayer, maybe it's a morning meditation, or thought for the day. And don't worry, if you don't want to come up with your own we have found some great additional ones from Rotary organizations all over the world.

If you would like to sign up online just click here or email Cassandra. In case you want to direct your invocation at the subject matter of the day, we've included in the online document a list of our weekly speakers. Red Badges, keep in mind this is a great way to check off one of your Blue Badge Requirements! There are 34 weeks left open for the board year. With over 100 members I have faith this will fill up quickly.
