Please join us this Friday as we hear from Dr. Lauren Edelman and Mikaella White-Leistikow from the Leadership Challenge Event! The Leadership Challenge Event is a unique leadership development experiences hosted by the Washburn University Leadership Institute each spring. It features a half-day leadership conference designed to introduce new leadership concepts and frameworks to participants, and a full-day leadership competition that uses a real-world simulation to challenge participants to navigate complex community challenges. The event was established in 2011 and has impacted over 1,000 college and high school students since its inception.  The LCE is truly a community-wide effort and is supported entirely by money raised through sponsorship efforts and executed with over 150 volunteers each year.

 

This week's meeting will be held in person at Washburn University's Bradbury Thomas Alumni Center (Fink Hall). Click here for directions. Announcements will begin promptly at 7:45 am, with breakfast and coffee being served at 7:30 am!
