In your own home, if there was one more person like you, could you live in that house? It’s very good that everybody in the world is the way they are. The person who is sitting next to you right now, if you look at them, you will see there is no other human being like this person anywhere in this planet. There never was one, there never will be one. There isn’t another one like that, and it is such a miracle for you that today you are sitting next to this human being who is absolutely unique. Speaker - Our Club Member and Assemblymember Kansen Chu was our key speaker on September 24, 2015. Mr. Chu is the first Chinese American educated outside the U.S. to be elected as a California Assemblymember representing the areas of San Jose, Santa Clara, Milpitas, Newark, and half of Fremont.
Working with Human Services, Art, Media, Tech, Tourism, Transportation, Labor, Sports, Employment and Economic Development, putting people back to work are his priorities. Bringing BART to the 49ers Stadium in Santa Clara and the Electrification of Cal Train are some of his pet projects.
