Thank you so much to everyone that purchased tickets to our annual Line Dancing event tomorrow night - we are SOLD OUT!!!  See you tomorrow night! (To all of the wonderful Plymouth Sunrise Rotary Club supporters, please be cautious when buying tickets from other parties now that the event is sold out.  We are happy to help you confirm the original purchase to make sure that the tickets you are purchasing are valid.) We look forward to a fun night with everyone.  Thank you!

The Plymouth Sunrise Rotary continued their annual tradition yesterday of donating and handing out turkeys for Thanksgiving to the residents at Algonquin Heights.  Happy Thanksgiving to ALL!

It was an incredibly special morning for us as we were able to present our donation check of $10,000 to South Shore Community Action Council.  The donation represents what was raised from our wiffle ball tournament in memory of our dear friend and Rotarian, Bob McMakin.  What made this morning even more meaningful was that we were able to present this check with Bob's wife Kathy. (Bob's impact on all of us in the club and community will always be remembered. . .)

The Plymouth Sunrise Rotary will be holding our Annual Food Drive on Saturday, September 27th at Market Basket (1Commerce Way) in Plymouth! The food drive supports the South Shore Community Action Council's β€œFood Resource Program” which provides non-perishable food items to over 60 local food panties, soup kitchens, emergency food providers and elementary schools.  Please swing by Market Basket and help us make a difference in our community!

What an amazing meeting this morning as we were hosted by Pilgrim Hall for a field trip and on site meeting.  We were so moved being in this incredible building steeped in our town's history and surrounded by beautiful works of art!  It is the oldest continuously operating public museum in the country and America’s museum of Pilgrim possessions. Did you know that one of the oldest documents in Massachusetts is housed here (over 400 years old)?!  If you are a Plymouth resident you can visit the museum for free! Unbelievable place to learn more about the Mayflower Pilgrims and the Wampanoag people.
