Today’s Event
We had a wonderful Holiday event which was coordinated by our President Elect Heather and enjoyed by all. It was great to see everyone and especially our family members including several Children and Grandchildren.
The event kicked off with a very competitive Ugly Sweater Contest. It was nip and tuck with a few snags as our members really know how to do ugly when it comes to a sweater. Our most esteemed judge Daniel made the tough call and awarded Alan third place, Jim Spangler second place and Tori first place for her Grinch sweater. Thanks to all who participated and especially Daniel for his great taste of ugly in sweaters!
Then we had a very wonderful, uplifting virtual concert of Holiday music by the Mountain View Madrigals sharing their message of Hope and Peace. Go to:
https://jilldenny.weebly.com if you wish to purchase their HOPE CD in download format for $10. The Madrigals perform a virtual holiday concert on Friday, December 18th at 7:15pm, and you can view details at
https://jilldenny.weebly.com. Our club supported the choir with a donation of $200 for the concert. Thank you all for joining and sharing holiday spirit!! Happy Hannukah 🕎 Merry Christmas 🎄 Happy New Year!!!
Members thanked Heather for putting on a fantastic Holiday event.
President Paul ended our last meeting of the year wishing everyone Safe, Healthy and Happy Holidays!
