Mountain View Rotary Club

Meeting Notes by Linda April 3rd, 2018

                                                              
Scott Johnson, Club President, welcomed all in attendance and reminded that “Our Rotary International theme for this year is “Rotary: Making a Difference.”   Our District Governor Orrin Mahoney’s theme is “Developing Lifelong Friendships, While Making a Difference.”  Our Mountain View Rotary Club is “Having Fun Making a Difference.”  
 
Scott led the Pledge of Allegiance and Linda, 4’fer for the day, gave a thought.  
 
Songmaster Phil led a song and Bert introduced visiting Rotarians and Guests. 
 
Announcements:
  • Polio Plus Flash Campaign –the envelope was passed around
  • Tom passed around a sign-up sheet for monthly program chairs, next year
  • Community Service Announcements --  Dave and Jim
            Tree planting with Canopy, Crittenden School – May 5th  
            Community School of Music and Art ushering needed weekend after next           
  • Club Service  -- Twana and Tori
            THANKS to Bruce & Suzanne … last Tuesday’s pizza social

  •  April 21st 40th Annual Mtn View Downtown Spring Family Parade – idea of an entry from Mtn View Rotary.   Any volunteers, let Jim Cochran or Scott know.
