Introduction of Visitors: Judy introduced her friend, Deborah, visiting from Arizona; they have known each other since Junior High School.

Club Announcements/Rotary Thoughts:

-Reviewed the memorial service for Tim Sandis last Friday, 9/21.

-Jim Cunningham will be generously donating 2 tickets to the Stanford-Washington State Football game on Saturday, October 27. They will be auctioned off in a week or 2.

-Asante, Nov 7th. Buy your raffle tickets from Carla Paul.

-Baby Blanket Project: We will be presenting the District Governor baby blankets on Nov 6th. Jerylann will be collecting donations to purchase the blankets or you may choose to purchase your own. We will continue to remind members of this project weekly.

-Rotary Funds (Gerry Felix): We are over 50% to goal. 10 more members to pledge to get to 100% participation. We want to reach this goal by the 11/6 District Governor’s visit.

-Holiday Party will be Thursday evening Dec 13th at 6 pm. The Barsi’s will be hosting the Holiday Party at their home! Please mark your calendars.

 

Fine Master – Bruce Barsi:

-Gerry Felix (she will be a grandmother in April) & Dennis Kobza joined the Presidents Club. Jim Spangler was fined $20 (he will be a grandfather – but not the same person as Gerry)  and Hal Taylor $15. Next Jeopardy board is going to be lots of fun!!
