  • Speaker Sign Up - We still need 4 more people. Please contact Anita Grossman with ideas and contact information of any potential speakers.
  • Rotary Day with the A’s sign up - Saturday Aug. 21 All proceeds benefit RYLA.
  • Tickets range from $18.00 to $26.00 each. Go to the game yourself or if you would like to donate a ticket to local youth please indicate on form. We will donate to PAL, YMCA or Interacters.
  • Yellow Page link on District website has added a Job Bank. If you are looking for a job you can post your info or if you are looking for an employee. FREE
  • Reminder that we have scheduled a President’s Council meeting (which includes the past 5 presidents) at 11:30 next Tuesday before our regular meeting to discuss our 5 year plan.
  • Rotary Foundation: Gerry Felix handed out pledge cards for the Every Rotarian Every Year Campaign. Please contact Gerry about donating to the Rotary Foundation.
  • Community Meeting – Mountain View General Plan update Sat 7/24 and Thur 7/29
  • Sandi stressed the importance of attendance at our meetings. We guarantee 30 meals to our caterer each week. If we don’t have that in attendance it is costing our club extra funds. Those funds could be used on projects in our community.  Please do your best to come each week and bring a friend!
  • Ribbon Cutting for a new business in town called Outright.com 191 Castro 2nd floor today from 4pm-7pm.  Yoga Belly 455 Castro Street. Thursday 29th at 4pm
  • Jim Cunningham passed around the sign up sheet for the San Jose Giants game & BBQ on August 14th
