Now youths participating in environmental studies while learning the Rotary's Four-Way Test ethnics at Rancho El Chorro Outdoor School can gather in this newly completed Outdoor Classroom sponsored by Rotary Clubs of Cayucos and Santa Paula. The project is a continuing collaboration with the San Luis Obispo County Education Office. Thank you, Dr. James J. Brescia and Hugo Bastidos for your help to organize and build this classroom together. Funds were also used to help purchase archery supplies; one of the activities offered at the outdoor school. About 10,000 youths participate in the programs annually. Even with social distancing, the outdoor classroom will be handy and can be put to good use.
Kudos to Club President Steve Larson, "Lars", for the completion of the outdoor classroom at Rancho El Chorro Outdoor School! For this Rotary year, we utilized a district grant to build this outdoor classroom. All this is possible because of your valuable contributions to The Rotary Foundation, which supports our grants.
