Embraced by about 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide in over 33,000 clubs, the Four-Way Test is how Rotarians live and work.  The test, which has been translated into more than 100 languages, asks the following questions:

Of the things we think, say or do

  1. Is it the TRUTH?
  2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
  4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

The students were required to submit an essay about the 4-way test principles. All were successful in sharing what they think of the 4-way test, and how they try to apply the 4-way test in their homes, at school and during play. Entries were vetted by club members. The best written essay received a cash prize of $100, followed by a second prize of $50, and $25 went to the bronze winner.
