A message from President Lou Ann Alexander, May 11, 2014

Fellow Rotarians,

 

This week our speaker is Lieutenant Brian Gilbert from the Santa Clara Police Department.  He will be speaking about the safety and traffic plan for the 49ers Levi Stadium. 

 

We are in the final week of our polio drive, and it has been a tremendous success thanks to your very generous donations.  At our meeting this week we will have our drawing for the iPad Mini.  For every $100 you have donated, you will get one entry in the drawing.   So, make sure to get your checks in.  Checks should be made payable to The Rotary Foundation. 

 

Rotary U is on Wednesday at the SJ Doubletree Hotel from 5:30-9:00.  Dinner is included and the club pays your way.  Plus, according to tradition, president elect Steve buys the wine.  All red badge members who have not attended a district event are encouraged to attend.  If you have not yet signed up, contact Steve Rainbolt at strainbolt@comcast.net to register.
