Fellow Rotarians,
Happy New Year and welcome to 2014! I hope you all had a happy and restful holiday season. We have many wonderful things in store for us as we head into the second half of our Rotary year. We resume our regular weekly meetings on Thursday with our speaker Bill Hare. Bill Hare is a two-time Grammy award winning music producer. He specializes in the A cappella market and produces for clients around the world.

In case you missed the announcement at our holiday dinner, Dan Holder announced the results from our club nominating committee meeting. The president-elect-elect who will take the helm in 2015 is Andy Ratermann. Our two new directors who will start in July 2014 are Gerry Kosko and Chief Mike Sellers. With these powerhouses guiding our club, our future looks brighter than ever! Congratulations to Andy, Gerry, and Mike.
I also have the good news to report that our club received a $5000 grant for our Steps for Success program from the Mission City Community Fund. Thanks go out to Margaret Demorest for submitting our grant application so that we have funding for our wonderful program for next year.
