Erik Guyot lives in Taipei with his young family.

Erik is the Founder and Managing Partner of Cross Pacific Partners, which has provided investment research to family offices and hedge funds based primarily in the United States since 2006.

He is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan (AmCham), where he serves on the Asset Management and Capital Markets Committees.

Prior to establishing Cross Pacific Partners, he worked as a financial journalist covering Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong. From 1996 to 1999, he was the Wall Street Journal’s lead reporter covering Hong Kong.

From 2014 to 2017, he served as a member of the FTSE-TWSE (Taiwan Stock Exchange) Taiwan Index Advisory Committee. This committee, comprised of senior market practitioners, was established jointly by FTSE Russell and the Taiwan Stock Exchange. FTSE Russell is the largest global provider of financial indexes.
