Comfort Drive- Joint Service Project

Joint service project in the works with Carrollton-Farmers Branch Club. The project will be a "Comfort Drive" to collect items for the Human Trafficking survivors as they transition and work through the trauma.
Recommended items are
- blankets
- hoodies
- warm socks
- stuffed animals
- leggings, etc.
President Cyndi will be purchasing some of these items (Presidential Discretionary Funds) to deliver on behalf of our club but more items are welcomed. Since we don't have a club meeting this week, (Mobile Food Pantry on Tuesday) we would like to invite our members to join the Carrollton Farmers Branch club meeting this Thursday for lunch at Midway Point. We will bring our collected items to combine with theirs and schedule a time to deliver jointly to Unbound North Texas (photo ops).
If you are available to attend this Thursday lunch at 11:45am, please let Cyndi know along with your lunch menu selection (below). We have to provide lunch menu selection by Wednesday afternoon at 2pm.
Menu items-
Tuna or Chicken salad sandwich with chips
or
Baked Potato with side salad
(Drinks- tea or water)
