It's lobster festival weekend in Rockland and no better way to celebrate than eating a freshly boiled lobster complete with the typical Maine side dishes. Rockland Rotarian's volunteer at the festival grounds food tent annually and this year was no exception. By 1.00 pm Thursday, August 4th, the volunteers had served up more than 5,000 pounds of steamed lobster to the hungry festival crowd.

Bob Heavisides, Adreth Rackliff, and Dianne Zollo were hard at work ringing up the cash register's while fellow Rotarian's Joyce Burnham, Stu Thro, Jack Grossbaum, Ike Kilayko, Gene Reil, Walden Chandler, Butch Wooster and many other Rotarians served up delicious side dishes for the busy lines.

The mission of Rotary International is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through it's fellowship of business, professional and community leaders.
