International Service Director for 2018-19, Sandi Froese, had an ambitious plan for this year. Included in International Service projects were contributions to Living Water, a partnership with Stonebridge UMC to drill fresh water wells in Central America, Shelter Box for emergency housing following disasters throughout the world, Wheelchair International to give mobility to those in need, Project Hand Up edutainment for children in Africa in response to AIDS, Heifer International to provide sustainable farming and ranching to those in need, End Polio Now which is a signature project of Rotary International to eradicate polio throughout the world, and The Guatemala Literacy Project to bring language and communication to this Central America country. The total of all international project contributions made by Sunrise Rotary Club for 2018-19 was $15,000.
