Hello Rensselaer Rotarians!
Our Run for Warmth was a lively gathering at 24/7 today, with 20 members present, plus guests Tom Fleming, Renée Harold, Mike Pruitt, and Betty Tonner. Coach Rick O'Dette and several baseball players were also present, as was Police Chief Jeff Phillips.
Thanks to Devon's for providing sandwiches, chips, two great soups, and cookies. Many thanks to Mindy and Deric Beier for hosting the event at their fitness facility. Also thanks to John Balvich, Jeff Gastineau, and WRIN staff for broadcasting the event. All funds generated by this event go to support the Gallagher Charitable Society Christmas Party for underprivileged children and their families on December 6. Rotary provides a new coat for each child in addition to other items. Thanks to all for their support.
