Jasper County REMC

 Stephanie Johnson with the Jasper County REMC visited the club.  She spoke about it's numerous donations to our community.  One example was the Round-up program where customers may round up their bill to the nearest dollar.  Money collected is paid out quarterly as decided by a committee.  Community individuals as well as non-profit organizations can apply to receive this money.  Our area schools often apply for and receive these funds.  Also, the electric company donates the electricity to operate the emergency alert sirens located throughout the county.  We were please to learn how Jasper County REMC is a part of our community.  Keep up the good work!!
