We made it!
Six of us hiked 10 miles to the peak and back on St. Helena Mountain on Sunday 2/17. We had Sunrise Rotarians...Peter Hoberg, Paul O'Rear (note: the guy in the shorts) and Jim Moir (taking the picture), as well at past member Tim Miller, his wife and a friend, Rick. As you can see in the picture, it was a brisk hike (temperature in the 20's and low 30's), plenty of snow but very spectacularly beautiful.
Our next Rotary hike will be Tolay Creek Ranch with a guide from Sonoma Land Trust on April 20 (a "lot easier" and a "lot warmer" that Mt. St. Helena.) Join us!!!
