Clubs first Public Relations Workshop a big success...

Club member, Michael Leikam and Director of the Colorado Higher Education Opportunity Center for Fort Hayes State University presented a half day Public Relations Seminar on Saturday Jan 30th.  Over 25 members from six local Rotary Clubs attended the seminar and took away useful tips and tools for creating press releases, that tell a story, writing for the media, how to get the word out regarding Club projects and using tools at hand to take better photos and shoot videos.  Those attending found the seminar a great way to hone and refine skills in promoting our Rotary Clubs. We hope to see Michael take this valuable seminar to other Rotary Clubs through out the District.
