Aurora Public Schools Testing Center Coordinator visits the Club.

Diane Johnson, the Aurora Public Schools Testing Center Coordinator spoke to our Club this morning. Diane shared the background of the GED program and its long path from a paper based program to the newly installed computer-based program. The new computer-based program will be permanently housed at Pickens Technical College. We were all impressed with Diane commitment to the program and clearly those student who had fallen between the educational cracks and are in the need of an alternative diploma, have found a permanent place in Dianes heart.  In addition to the every popular GED program the new center provides testing for several technical certification programs.
