Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Rotary Club of Dayton.  Membership is extremely important to us and we are always eager to receive applications from persons interested in joining our club. 

 

Membership in The Rotary Club of Dayton requires an invitation and sponsorship by two members of the club as well as an available business or professional classification.  Rotary uses the classification system to establish and maintain a vibrant cross-section or representation of the community's business, vocational, and professional interests among members and to develop a pool of resources and expertise to successfully implement service projects.

 

Often a person being considered for membership is invited by a club member or sponsor to attend one of our weekly meetings to learn more about Rotary. The membership process may take 6 - 8 weeks from the time a proposal is submitted for consideration.

 

If you are accepted into membership, you will be asked to pay a $250 initiation fee.  In addition, you will be billed for dues and lunches every three months.

 

Your sponsors must complete the membership proposal form and submit it to the Rotary office where it will then be sent to the Classification Committee and then to the Board of Directors for consideration.
