“Helping Low-income Homeowners Stay Safe in Their Homes”

Terry owned a production company for 9 years, then changed careers to become a field manager for QSP Fundraising Reader’s Digest.  When her daughter became psychotic overnight and was misdiagnosed as being bipolar, Terry started a campaign to open a children’s medical psych hospital and to spread the word about the actual disease her daughter had:  PANS/Autoimmune Encephalitis. This lead to joining the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, mentoring families, and raising 2.5 million dollars for the new clinic. Terry was awarded the Family Member Community Hero Award for improving the quality of life of Santa Clara County Residents.  She now serves as a Behavioural Health Board Member for Santa Clara County.  In 2106, Terry became the Partnerships and Outreach Manager for Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley, a non-profit that does free home repairs and safety modifications for homeowners in need.
