West Valley Clean Water Program Authority

Dave will explain how the Clean Water Authority is similar to the Solid Waste Authority, how the City Council members participate, what they do, what citizens can watch for - and do to help. Their general direction is to talk about what "stormwater pollution" is - how water running off property and streets goes directly into our creeks,
without any "cleaning" (treatment) and what we do to help prevent that pollution.  Then they discuss what everyone can do to help - as home owners with yards/landscaping; as citizens reporting pollution; as people who buy 'to-go' coffee in paper cups which can end up as litter, etc.

The West Valley Clean Water Program Authority wears many hats to  keep us safe.  They prevent pollution in our local (Los Gatos, Campbell, Monte Sereno and Saratoga) creeks, dispose of liquids leaking from business trash bins or oil running from a driveway into the gutter.

Learn what we do to keep your creeks clean, and how we can all support this important work.
