This year marks the 500th anniversary of the original Renaissance Man, Leonardo de Vinci.  Caroline is the author of “Leonardo’s Knots”.  The book focuses on Leonardo’s placement and use of mathematically-inspired knots throughout his art.  It tells the story of the hidden messages conveyed by knots that appear in the artist’s most famous paintings.
Caroline Cocciardi is a writer and filmmaker who studied Leonardo de Vinci while living in Rome.  Her 20 years research led to the above discovery. In 2009 Caroline’s documentary “Mona Lisa Revealed” was featured at the Carmel Film Festival.
