Al Taylor's family launched Lily’s Pad in 2019 and began serving children in 2023 with 103 members - they are now serving 451 members. Lily's Pad serves children with leukemia, various cancers, heart defects and any condition that compromises their immune system. The initial build cost $850K, but monthly expenses total $27,000, so it's important that the community continue to support this crucial piece of children's recovery from devastating diseases. “Our family is blessed by Lily’s recovery and victory over cancer. If we can provide joy and distraction from the pain of medical battles, I will consider my work at Lily’s Pad a big success.”
Tempe South Foundation gave $14,150 initially and continues to support Lily's Pad.
