 vement Association is proud to announce the 8th annual free outdoor Chris
 tmas festival – CandyTown. Last year (2018)\, an estimated 15\,000 pe
 ople came out to Candytown to kick off the holidays.   Downtown Vancouve
 r’s only free winter festival will transform Mainland\, Hamilton and Dav
 ie streets into a winter wonderland. Lights and candy canes will adorn lam
 p poles and costumed characters will parade down the street. Holiday shopp
 ers are invited to start their seasonal gift buying in Yaletown with local
  merchants as well as a specialty market carrying unique gifts and holiday
  treats. Stilt walkers and roaming holiday characters will interact with 
 revellers\, to the wonderment of tots – while live music and carolling w
 ill set the stage for Yuletide cheer.    This year\, CandyTown is bringin
 g back the self-guided Cocktail Tour for visitors aged 19+ who are searc
 hing for a tavern to enjoy seasonal menus\, drinks and be merry by the spi
 rit of the festival! Enjoy special concoction crafted in the spirit of Can
 dyTown\, where you won’t find anywhere else but in Yaletown on November 
 30. This outdoor Christmas festival is free\, open to the public and sure
