The Rotary Club of Park Cities

The annual Park Cities 4th of July Parade is  the largest single day event in the Park Cities attracting more than 10,000 residents and guests with the goal of creating a fun-filled community building celebration of Independence Day.  The 2018 parade will be the 16th year the Rotary Club of Park Cities has hosted  the parade in partnership with the Town of Highland Park and the City of University Park .

The parade starts at 9:00 a.m. at the Highland Park Town Hall on Euclid Avenue at Drexel Drive   Parade entries typically begin lining up at least an hour earlier.  The family bicycle judging contest will be held at 8:00 a.m. at the Moody Family YMCA (6000 Preston Road), and then all bicycle entrants will join the parade from that point.  The parade ends at Goar Park in University Park where we will have a patriotic family festival featuring music, food, and plenty of entertainment for children of all ages! The Goar Park celebration kicks off around at 9:30 a.m.

You do not have to pre-register to be in the parade.

Special Beneficiary:

The North Texas Food Bank is the beneficiary of this year's Parade.  U.S. Trust and the Rotary Club of Park Cities Foundation have combined to make a lead donation of $15,000 to support the agency's Feeding Children and Families Initiative.  There is no registration fee to be in the parade or entrance fee to Goar Park, but we encourage everyone to contribute to the agency's critical work in fighting hunger via the funding page:

The parade provides a great opportunity for the entire family to honor America and celebrate our community!
