Assist the Officer Foundation Donations
The club held a moving ceremony at our weekly meeting on July 15 to remember the five fallen officers from Dallas. We did not want our show of support to end there. By consensus we decided to continue our show of support by contributing to the ATO fund created to support the families of these five officers. Our club foundation will match every member dollar contributed up to $5,000.00.
As a club we are collecting contributions to the fund for one month, from July 15 to August 12. If you would like to participate, please make your check to the Assist the Officer Foundation. You can turn your check in to Kathleen Klaviter, Sergeant-at-Arms or Laurie Aldredge, Club Administrator. We will total the checks at the end of the four weeks to determine the matching amount from our club foundation. The club will forward all the checks to the Assist the Officer Foundation.
