The Rotary Club of Park Cities

Celebrating a Community in Focus

The annual 4th of July Parade is  the largest single day event in the Park Cities attracting more than 10,000 residents and guests.  This will be the 15th year the Rotary Club of Park Cities has sponsored the parade in partnership with the Town of Highland Park and the City of University Park .  The parade will take place during the morning of Tuesday, July 4th.  Mr. Brad Bradley will serve as the parade's 2017 Grand Marshal.

The parade starts on Euclid Avenue at Drexel Drive near the Highland Park Town Hall  at 9:00 a.m.  Participants typically  begin lining up around 7:30 a.m. The family bicycle judging contest will begin at 8 a.m. at the Moody Family YMCA, 6000 Preston Road, and bicycle entrants will join the parade at that point.  The parade will end at Goar Park in University Park with a patriotic family festival featuring music, food, and plenty of entertainment for children of all ages! The Goar Park celebration will start around 9:30 a.m., and there is no admission charge.
